About Almanauts

Almanauts is an independent, fact-checked game wiki, made by and for the Almanauts: players who want the exact answer. We publish fact-checked stats and tools: drop chances, damage formulas, breeding odds, crafting trees, builds, patch-by-patch changes, and maps with everything at its in-game position.

How we verify our data

1. Every update is checked automatically before it is published (references, ranges, impossible values, missing entries).
2. Calculators are tested against the game's own results, values the game shows or stores in a save, and published references, and each tool says how many cases it was checked on.
3. When a game patches, we re-check the data, re-run every test, and publish what changed, number by number.
4. Anything we can't confirm is flagged as inferred or not counted, and corrections are always welcome.

What we stand for

Fact-checked

Numbers are the ones the game itself uses, checked automatically on every update, tested against the game where tools compute them, and never copied from other sites.

Shown with its evidence

Every page shows the game version its data is for. Rules are tagged exact, community or inferred.

Computed, not padded

Pages exist to answer something exactly: a calculator, a drop chance, a full stat table. No filler text and no AI-written guides.

Free, with nothing locked

No paid tier and no account needed. Tools run in your browser, game saves are never uploaded, and your progress stays on your device unless you choose to sign in to sync it.

Fixed in public

When we get something wrong, we fix it and log it on the corrections page.

How it's funded

Almanauts is funded by reader donations. We may add clearly labelled ads later; they would never sit inside a tool, and nothing will ever be paywalled. No developer or publisher pays for coverage.

We are not affiliated with any developer or publisher. We cover games because players want exact answers about them, not because anyone asked us to.
