How this works
Every combination of head, chest, arms and legs, including going without a piece, is considered against your weight budget, and the ten best are kept. Negation is scored the way the game combines it: each piece lets through part of the damage and the parts multiply, so the ranking is by how little damage gets through, weighted by the damage types you pick. A pruned exact search finds the true top ten, usually in a few milliseconds. Armour stats are the game's own.
